Somewhere between documentary and editorial. For most of the day, I’m watching rather than directing - the people, the atmosphere, the tiny interactions and everything happening in between the obvious moments. When we make portraits, I’ll give you enough direction to create something beautiful without making you feel like you’re performing for the camera.
The end result is a gallery that feels considered, but never over-produced. Beautiful photographs, without your wedding becoming a photoshoot.
-
Not even slightly. In fact, almost everyone tells me this. You don’t need to know where to stand, what to do with your hands or how to look good in photographs. That’s my job.
I’ll give you direction when you need it and leave you alone when you don’t. Nothing rigid, nothing overly posed and definitely no expectation that you suddenly become models for the day.
You just need to be there. I’ll take care of the rest.
-
Absolutely. These photographs matter, and I think they’ll probably matter even more in twenty years than they do now.
I’ll ask for a short list ahead of the wedding so we can get through them quickly and easily, without losing half of your drinks reception to standing in a line. Classic doesn’t have to mean formal.
-
I don’t work towards a fixed number because no two weddings are the same. As a guide, a full wedding gallery will usually contain around 800 individually edited photographs, but I’ll never add images simply to reach a number, and I’ll never leave out a brilliant photograph because I’ve reached one.
The gallery is finished when the story feels complete.
-
You’ll receive a curated set of previews within around a week of your wedding, while everything still feels wonderfully fresh. Your complete gallery will follow within approximately 8 weeks. Every photograph is individually selected and edited before the final collection is brought together, digital and 35mm, portraits and candids, the enormous moments and the ones you didn’t even realise were happening.
It’s worth the wait.

I do, and it’s a medium that goes back to where photography began for me. I first learnt to shoot film while studying photography at university and now weave it into wedding days alongside digital photography.
I love it for its colour, texture and unpredictability. It slows things down and makes every frame deliberate — no endless takes, no instant preview, just deciding that something is worth the photograph and pressing the shutter.
35mm film can be added to your wedding collection, with the developed scans delivered as part of your final gallery.
-
Not every wedding needs one, but for larger celebrations I highly recommend it. A second photographer gives us two perspectives on the same day, both preparations happening simultaneously, another angle during the ceremony, more of your guests and all the things happening elsewhere while I’m with you. My second photographers are people I know and trust, and all of the final photographs are selected and edited by me so your gallery remains completely cohesive.
-
Absolutely. I’m based in Surrey and photograph weddings throughout London, the UK and further afield. For destination weddings, I’ll create a bespoke collection around your plans, with everything considered in advance so that the photography side of things feels incredibly straightforward.
Wherever you’re getting married, tell me where and when. We’ll take it from there.
-
We make great photographs anyway.
I’m always watching the weather, the light and how the day is unfolding, and I’ll adapt around whatever we’re given. Sometimes that means finding beautiful light indoors. Sometimes it means waiting ten minutes for a shower to pass. And sometimes it means deciding the rain is actually making everything look rather good and going outside. Your wedding doesn’t need perfect weather to photograph beautifully.
-
Start by sending me an enquiry with your date, venue and a little about what you’re planning. If I’m available, I’ll send over everything you need to explore the collections and decide what feels right for your day.
Your date is secured with a signed contract and booking fee. From there, your photography is taken care of.

It’s analogue photography in its original form. Rather than an image being recorded onto a digital sensor, it’s captured onto a physical roll of photographic film. The rolls are then professionally developed and scanned before being added to your final gallery.
-
Because it has character. Film renders colour, light and movement in a way that feels beautifully imperfect. There’s grain. There’s softness. Sometimes there’s motion. And because every roll contains a finite number of photographs, every press of the shutter is considered. It’s less about technical perfection and more about how an image feels.
-
There isn’t a checklist. I’ll reach for my film camera when something about the light, colour, movement or atmosphere makes me think this needs to be on film. That might be portraits in beautiful afternoon light, your tables before everyone sits down, champagne being poured, guests spilling out of the ceremony or the chaos of the dance floor.
-
Your rolls are sent away to a professional film lab to be developed and scanned. Once they’re back with me, I make the final selections and incorporate them into your finished wedding gallery alongside your digital photographs.
-
Absolutely. 35mm film is available as an add-on to my wedding photography collections.
